I loved Namor (the corny joke about his name was funny (was it supposed to be?) but how do we explain Namora's name?), but Wakanda Forever did not generally click with me. Shuri was one of my favorite characters of the first film but here, I did not care for her (I don't want to be too spoilery!). I may very well be influenced by disliking Letitia Wright for her antivax views, but I also think introducing Ironheart here made the film feel bloated, like introducing Spider-Man did in Civil War.
I also had reservations about the broad-brushstroke approach of the Wise take.
